Delivering 24/7 security and surveillance coverage of public areas is a daunting challenge for any Security Manager. Facilities can now be protected in a COVERT manner with the ALS-20 in conjunction with low-light CCD +/or day/night cameras that see into the near IR and ICCD's.
The ALS-20 utilises an invisible 810nm or optional 850nm & 950nm laser diode which will illuminate up to 6 hectares/60,000 square metres per ALS device COVERTLY - effectively illuminates targets up to 800m! A cost effective alternative to Thermal Imaging cameras.

Unlike IR filtered incandescent illuminators or IR LEDs, the ALS utilises a solid-state laser diode that delivers high efficiency and extremely long service life - greater than 35,000 hour MTBF. The ALS-20 is a Class 1 Eye Safe Device and produces even illumination edge-to-edge. IP65 rated. The standard unit is offered with a horizontal beam angle of 20° and a vertical beam angle of 10°. Optional beam angles are available between 10° and 80°.
